Park Ji-min (박지민), also credited as Jimin Park and Jamie, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and television host.
She was born July 5, 1997 (Cancer) in Jung-gu, Daejeon, South Korea.
Jamie can fluently speak English and Korean, and speaks basic Thai because she lived in Thailand for 8 years.

K-pop Star and 15&
In 2011, Jamie participated in the first season of K-pop Star, a competition show that debuts the winner with the company of their choice (SM, YG or JYP). She auditioned with 4 covers, but her cover of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" caught the attention of several western news channels and she quickly became recognized around the world for her amazing vocals.
In 2012, the only 15 year old Park Jimin became the first winner of K-pop Star, and on May 21, 2012, she officially chose to sign with JYP Entertainment. She also donated her whole prize of 300 million won ($270,000 at the time) to charity.
On September 19, 2012, it was announced that Jimin would debuting in a duo along with Baek Yerin. The duo was called 15& (referring to both the girl's ages at debut time and saying that they would continue into the future) and released their debut digital single "I Dream" on October 5, 2012.
After a 4 year-long hiatus and both the girls leaving JYP, the duo disbanded, even though it was never officially announced by the company.
Solo activities and career
In July 2014, Jamie became a co-host for Arirang TV's After School Club alongside Eric Nam and Kevin Woo. She still hosts the show 'til this day (2014-).
On April 5, 2015 she released her debut single "Hopeless Love" with the name Jimin Park. On August, she also revealed that she formed a project group with rapper Nathan and Woodz (Seungyoun) of UNIQ.
The group is called M.O.L.A (Make Our Life Awesome) and they released their first track "My Way" on August 20. M.O.L.A currently consists of Jamie, Nathan, Woodz (Seungyoun) of UNIQ and X1, Vernon from SEVENTEEN and Kino of PENTAGON.
Jamie had a total of 4 solo mv's/titles and 2 EP's while she was in JYP (2015-2019). "Stay Beautiful" was her last release before leaving the company on August 6, 2019 (see [Jamie's discography]()).
Jamie has a podcast with Dive Studios called "What Would Jamie Do?", it started on October 2019 and had it's first season finale on April 2020.
On April 21, 2020, it was announced that Jamie has signed an exclusive contract with Warner Music Korea, and will continue to promote as "Jamie".
Jamie also participated on the Mnet show "Good Girl" (2020)
She made her first comeback after leaving JYP with "NUMBERS" (feat. Changmo) on Sep 3, 2020.

If you got here you probably already know that Jamie is a really good vocalist, but she can also rap, write and compose songs.
Her personality is very playful, savage and funny, but she's a really sweet person who loves her fans a lot. She's also friends with a ton of artists in this industry, like GOT7, Stray Kids's Bang Chan, Pentagon's Kino, Seventeen's Vernon, Woodz, Eric Nam and Kevin Woo.
